There was a very inappropriate post on this Forum and I have deleted it. Not sure if I just deleted it from my perspective only or if I deleted it entirely from Speak Out Waterboro... If you didn't see it - you're lucky - if you did and feel that my action in deleting was wrong my apologies..

Today's Press Herald indicates that a growing company from Eliot will be moving into the former Architicual designs building on Route 202! The company manufactures robotic tanks used by SWAT, the military and other industries. Good Job Tom!!

Hi all,
I was hoping to find out what will be on the ballot on Tuesday, November 3rd before I got there so I could be informed before I went to vote. I wanted to find out everything that will on the ballot and do my homework to find out how I will vote. I have gotten nothing in my mailbox concerning this. I went to the Waterboro Town Website and couldn't find anything to let me know what will be on the ballot.

I know there will be a vote on whether or not to legalize gay...

Ongoing incidents of Theft of Political Signs occurring all over the state of Maine. Recently reported to YCSO as happening in the Ross Corner area.
If you see this type of activity occurring, contact your local Law Enforcement Agency. If possible, provide a registration number. You need not leave your name.
This may seem like petty stuff in the light of things in todays world, but, theft is theft... no matter how you slice it.

Know this guy/car?

Black (or dark blue) Volkswagon car - passed me this morning doing.. I dare say.. 70+mph. Got about 18-24 inches from my back bumper - had there not been cars going in the other direction in front of the high school he would have passed me right there. Instead he waited until we went straight across Route 202 (South Waterboro Road) and he literally put the pedal to the metal and passed me.

Wrote down his plate number as he passed me... 962...

Amazing how there can be commercials on tv advocating for NO gay marriage because of the fear it will be discussed at schools - a fear that what may be instilled in our kids that it's OK for a man to love a man, or a woman to love a woman - yet they'll pass out birth control pills and condoms at schools??? I don't get it.

DIFW biologist say they netted some large hornpout (catfish) as a by-catch last fall during their fish survey. I want to go night fishing for them as DIFW said they got the biggest ones on the north side of the lake. That means i will have to use my boat at night. Does the launch ramp get closed after dark, which is the best time to fish for hornpout?

Ross Corner Church wedding saturday

Going to be a wedding Saturday at the church. the groom is 94, and the bride is 87. Cool or what? Another milestone. Was one year ago this Sunday that a small group decided to keep the church open beyond Labor Day, and to fix the place up. We still have alot of fixing to do, but she coming. Pime Springs Assoc in Shapleigh will use the church again for their annual meeting too. Good to have it used instead of be a landmark!

Ross Corner will provide some music for the annual service...

West Rd Project.....so, now that 2 coats of paving have been layered on the torn up section, who can tell me if the entire road will get a top coat...and if a few of the other horrible spots will be torn up, shived up, fixed before they simply add another layer?

Also...who has the time line..when will this happen....after the busses start going up and down???/ Dahhhh

Webber Rd Picnic Area?

Good Evening, the other day somebody mentioned to me there was a public picnic area at the intersection of Webber Rd and Chadbourne Ridge Road. They also mentioned that people can take their dogs there to swim in the lake. Does anyone know if either or both of those statements are indeed true? Thanks for the help.

I watched some of the meeting of the new Planning Board the other night. How did that happen?? Why did we turn power over to the developers who have made such a mess of this town for their own profit?

I confess I didn't have a clue what they were discussing or the impacts of their decision so all of you who are so inclined can take aim and fire away at my ignorance.

But the ties between the Economic Development Committee, the Planning Board , and Developers will...
